Iberian Duroc Pork Cuts
These are the first Iberian pigs to be bred in Britain
These are bred close to us in Shropshire by a Chef and Farmer who are both passionate about the breed.
They have developed a specialist ‘soy free’ feed and endeavor to provide the highest welfare standards.
The pigs spend their time grazing herbal leys across the farm. Alongside grass the pigs are fed a bespoke 100% soy free diet with protein sourced from beans, peas and rapeseed meal from the farms oil press.
This rapeseed meal forms a valuable source of Omega-3 that would traditionally be offered by acorns in their native Spain.
The Iberian breed delivers meat with exceptional nutritional values. The fat of Iberian pigs is embedded in their musculature, producing a juicier meat.
The Duroc is a popular breed of pig known for its fast growth, hardiness and large muscular frame which produces a high quality pork.
