Oxford Sandy and Black Pork
We are proud to supply this lovely Oxford Sandy and Black Pork from two wonderful farmers in Shropshire.
Greg and Becki relocated to their farm in 2025 to semi retire from their previous professions. Greg was a Funeral Director for 30 years and Becki is a practising Psychologist.
Their passion for animals led them to buy ‘Little Piggy Farm’. It didn’t take long for them to realise that the woodland surrounding the farm had become heavily overgrown and needed careful, sustainable management. The solution came in the form of pigs, a natural and effective way to clear the land while enriching the soil with nitrogen.
With a passion for conservation and animal welfare they chose to work with Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. With only around 300 left in the country they are proud to play a small role in helping secure the future of this traditional breed. Sandy and Blacks are easy to handle and make excellent mothers. They are also known for producing succulent high-quality pork.
The numbers on the farm are kept low ensuring a calm and happy environment where the pigs can thrive without stress.
They are willingly helped by their son Dylan who also looks after the many other animals they have on the farm including a beautiful white Rhea.
