    One of our greatest advocates for British Rose Veal, Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, says you can actually pretty much leave this joint to its own devices and set it to slow roast it in the oven first thing in the morning ......making it the perfect roast for an easy, lazy weekend lunch. Simply throw in the vegetables an hour before serving, tossing them in the fatty juices to roast them off, and hey presto!!Veal, being a fairly young animal (although not so young as the lamb or chicken that you buy !), is almost always naturally tender, and because our veal is fed on a cereal ration it is full of flavour too. The meat is absolutely delicious when slow roasted and will literally fall apart if you treat it with a little patience and respect. This cut is ideal for producing a "pulled" style product, or even just cutting into large chunks for a slow braised casserole, stew or curry.
